Pastor Oetla Simankane is a pastor in the Trans-Orange Conference (TOC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South African Union Conference (SAU). A PK (pastor's kid) himself, and a product of Adventist education, his ministry is grounded in the conviction that the plan of redemption is in its concluding end and God's Remnant has a special place in the Divine plan.

His pastoral training and undergraduate degree was obtained from Avondale College in Australia and he is currently completing his Masters in Biblical Studies with the Adventist University of Africa. Before Avondale he received his foundational education at Solusi Primary and secondary at Anderson High School.

Oetla Simankane began his pastoral ministry in 2007 with the South Botswana Conference, having graduated in 2006. In 2014 Divine Providence led him and his family to ministrer in South Africa where he currently shepherds 7 churches in the West Rand District of the TOC.

As a family man, his first ministry is to his wife Refilwe Simankane and daughter Renesetse Simankane.

Adventists await the second coming of Jesus and his name, Oetla, is an assurance in Setswana that 'He Is Coming!' May this Camp-Meeting ready us for His coming:)
